Shepherd Home is located in Penfield, NY. We are a comfort care home that cares for 2 people at a time experiencing end of life. Our services are provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the community and volunteerism. We are grateful for the many volunteers who donate their time and compassion to support our home and most importantly, our residents.
Current Volunteer Needs Include:

Resident Care
Our Resident Care volunteers provide personal care to our residents and extend support and hospitality to the residents� family and friends. Prospective volunteers have the opportunity to shadow our nurse, and other volunteers to acquaint themselves with the care given at Shepherd Home. Requirements: All you need is a compassionate heart and a drive to help those who are terminally to live their best life. We will teach you the rest.

Fundraising
Shepherd Home relies on fundraising events to generate a large percentage of our annual budget. Do you have event planning experience? Or ideas and enthusiasm to create memorable events for an important cause? Come join one of our committees and help us to continue our mission and to build community awareness.
Both of these volunteer opportunities are currently and can be completed by senior volunteers!
