We meet with individuals and families to learn about the service needs and challenges of individuals whose health changes have compromised the ability for she/he to live safely in the community without services. The goal is to assist the individual and family to live safely and independently as possible with options that they have decided they want. At the first meeting, we talk about family income and assets, and we will then talk about options and make referrals as needed. If the family would like additional assistance with follow through, we will then ask for a retainer and we bill our time against the retainer.
Our expertise is in knowing the programs and services that are available as well as understanding how these services can be paid for whether it be privately or through insurances such as Medicare, Medicaid.
