Aurora House is a two-bed comfort care home for the dying. Our volunteer caregivers, with the support and guidance of House staff, provide loving and compassionate care to residents facing the last weeks of their lives, and offer support to their loved ones, in a home like setting.

Volunteers are the heart of our home. Offering a few hours per month or a few hours per week, volunteers provide care to our residents, cleaning, lawn and garden work, event planning, providing meals, graphic art, music, and more. We are always accessible to our community as a resource for information or support and welcome your calls or visits.

All services of Aurora House are offered free of charge through the generosity and compassion of our friends and neighbors. We receive no insurance or government funding; donations, memorials, grants, and fundraisers allow us to provide this gift to our community.
